(Item 1)  Conceding Putts:

For the last couple of seasons putt conceding keeps creeping back into our league.

Please vote (Yes) for ONLY ONE of the following options.

# 1 _____ Yes       No conceded putts, all putts must be putt into the cup.

# 2 _____ Yes       Any putt may be conceded no matter what the distance.

# 3 _____ Yes       You may only concede, at your discretion, any putts within 10” (the length of a

standard putter grip).  No putts on hole # 6 may be conceded.

  <>

(Item 2)  Rolling The Ball:

A couple of years ago, when the course was being re-modeled, players were permitted to roll the ball 12” in any direction any where on the course.  Last year the rule was altered to allow the ball to be rolled only the length of the club face, using the club head to move the ball. You were not permitted to touch the ball with your hand.

NOTE:

TO SPEED UP PLAY, no matter what the result of the following vote.  ALL “D  players will be

permitted to roll the ball the distance of  the club face in any direction on any part of the course.

Please vote (Yes) for ONLY ONE of the following options.

# 1 _____ Yes     Allow the ball to be moved with the club head, the length of the club face,

without improving your line of sight to the hole anywhere on the course.

# 2 _____ Yes     Do not allow the ball to be moved anywhere on the course.  This change will

not go into affect until the May 7, 2009 match.

(Item 3)  Hole-In-One Event:

We are starting on our 3rd season where each player pays $5.00 per year to be included in a

Hole-In-One event.  The first player to have a hole-in-one wins all of the money that has been paid  for

the previous years.  For more than 20 years we have never had a Hole-In-One during a league event.

The possibility of the current event going for many more years without a winner is very possible, which brings us to the following question.  What happens if we are in the 10th or 11th year of the current Hole-In-One event (with over $2,000 in the pot) and someone who has just entered the league for the first time gets a Hold-In-One. The way it is set up now, the new player who has only paid $5.00 compared to over $50.00 for long term players wins all of the Hole-In-One money in the pot.

NOTE:  In our after league “Skins Game”; if we do not have a winner and we  have a carry over to the next week, players who were not  in the previous weeks event  must pay an additional $5.00 for each week missed to be entered in the new “Skins” game.

Please do not vote on this issue if you have never paid into the hole-in-one event.

Please vote (Yes) for ONLY ONE of the following options.

  <>

# 1 _____ Yes    No matter how long a player has been paying into the Hole-In-One event they win all

of the money in the pot if they have a Hole-In-One.

# 2 _____ Yes    A player can win ONLY the money for the number of years he has elected to pay

into the event.  A new player may elect to buy into as many prior years as he wishes.

(Item 4)  Play or Don’t play Hole #7 (old hole #6):

Nemacolin is considering changing the starting hole for 2009 back to last year’s hole # 18.  Therefore we would have the following hole set ups for this season:  1 Par 5  ~  5 par 4’s  ~   3 par 3’s  for a

non-traditional total Par 34.  The Par 3 hole # 7 (old hole #6) has not been modified to eliminate balls from running off of the green, so back ups and delays on this hole will continue to be a problem.  A suggestion has been made to eliminate playing hole # 7 (old hole # 6) and instead play hole # 10 (old hole #9).  That change would eliminate one Par 3 and add a second Par 5, giving us the following:

2 Par 5’s  ~  5 Par 4’s  ~  2 Par 3’s  for a traditional total Par 36.

NOTE:  The after league “Skins Game” would start on the Par 3 hole # 11 (old hole #10) and finish on hole #1 (old hole #18) for the same total number of skin holes as in previous years.

Please vote (Yes) for ONLY ONE of the following options:

# 1 _____ Yes   Play holes # 1 thru # 9 as set up by on Nemacolin’s 2009 score card for a Par 34 match.

# 2 _____ Yes   Play holes #1 thru #6 (skip Par 3 hole #7) then continue with holes #8 thru hole #10 for

                          a Par 36 match.
